As a child my Mom never let me use the word 'Hate'. I would come home from a bad day at school and say things such as, "I hate so-in-so in my class, she is so mean." My Mom would immediately respond with, "You don't hate anyone, Halie." I never realized what an amazing impact those words would have on my life. I guess i realized that the longer i hold a grudge the longer I, myself, was the one in pain.

Don't Hate.
