Sometimes when someone doesn't understand what you want or need it gets frustrating. I do not expect anyone to read my mind. So, i try to be one to communicate the way i am feeling. Butttt when you have your hopes up about something and things don't work out because the other person lacks an interest, it is hurtful. I may not be high maintenance and may not require too much but that doesn't mean that there should not be time and effort spent on someone else's behalf every once in a while. I do not expect a lot but i do expect to be cared about.
